MOTIVATION

Speaking from the perspective of people with exclusionary laws, the ideology is more than the desire for equality. Universal human rights are undermined and infused with intersectional forms of discrimination until the majority society sees the ideology as nothing more than a flag in the wind. The conviction not only to be affected by racism and to suffer from it as an individual, but to recognize institutional racism, that comes before ideology. Speaking together as a group, giving each other strength and drawing hope from the reality of each other’s lives, that we demand the right to human dignity, that motivates our members.
We stand together for recognition as people with art, culture, science and a long history of great eras – as black people.
Therefore, the initiative offers opportunities for participation. Those interested can get involved through one of our activities.
